About About I started dying yarn about five years ago. I love knitting with hand dyed yarn and wanted to create my own colors for different projects. I love mixing different shades and tones and speckling color on the yarn and seeing how it reacts. Up until now, I have used my had dyed yarn for my own projects. I have used my hand dyed yarn in sweaters, shawls and socks. I am looking forward to sharing fiber creations with all of you. I also found the art of hand pouring candles a few years ago. I love using wooden wicks; they simulate a crackling fire. There is nothing better than on an autumn or winter day listening to a cracking fire (especially because my husband does not let me use the fire place.) I use luxury fragrances inspired by nature. My scents that evokes happy memories and being outside and enjoying the day. Knitting by a fire is my perfect day. I started Woolen Lights to provide special hand dyed yarn and high quality candles that I hope bring other people the same joy as they bring me.
